Junior High Area All-State 2011

After weeks of before and after school practices, memorizing choir music, and figuring out tricky fingerings Michael and Elsa were ready for Area All-State this weekend.  They were so excited to get out of school early yesterday and the chance to spend the night in a hotel.  They woke up early for more practicing and then the much awaited concert at 2pm.  Thankfully I was able to attend.  It was great!  Both Michael and Elsa qualified with their scores from last year's Solo-fest, with Elsa earning her spot a year early!

I am so proud of them both!
