Grandmother's Birthday
We've been dealing with quite a bit of sickness in the house. Between the fevers, acheys, dizziness and stomach issues we've been down for the count! I am so thankful that we were feeling better so we could help Elaine celebrate her 66th birthday.
We started out the day by making her cake. I rarely invite the boys into the kitchen, because let's face it, it's a hassle, but I thought this would be the perfect opportunity! They did not disappoint. They were so cute with all of their "helping"
A white confetti cake with chocolate frosting, surrounded by Kit Kat bars and topped with a bag of m&m's. I took Elaine out for Prime Rib for her birthday, but we hurried home to share the cake with all the kids that stayed home with the babysitter. It was so rich, and so very yummy!
