Prom 2016
Our school holds their prom on a Friday night, and most of Elsa's big Invitational track meets are on Saturday. Because of that, Elsa has decided for the past two years not to attend her own prom. She has so few chances to run against competition during the regular season, and hasn't wanted to show up to any of those races tired.
She has recently started dating a young man whom she met at the All-State Choir they both attended this past December. Sean lives about 50 minutes away, and his school district holds prom on Saturday evening. Elsa was so surprised by the promposal and was very excited to be attending prom! She had an Invitational in the morning (placing 1st and hitting the National Standard in the Steeplechase) and then rushed home to get all dolled-up, only to rush back to Geneseo to make it in time for pictures. She had such a great time, and I am so happy she was able to go!
