Pie Baking 2009

We five ladies had a plan for 6 pies...but what happens when you have extra strawberries?  You make 7 pies instead!  From left to right: Lisa, Melissa, Sarah, Meema, and Brittany.  Sarah, Lisa, and Meema made pies last year and had so much fun I think it will now be a yearly tradition.

Meema taught us all how to make the perfect pie crust from scratch:

Final pie count: 3 Apple, 1 Strawberry Glace, 1 Pumpkin, and 2 Triple Berry Pies.  Lisa made two of them for her Thanksgiving festivities...so that leaves 5 for the Reitler Thanksgiving feast.  We also have a cake for Stephan's Birthday...and with only 12 people coming that is half a pie/cake for everyone.  No one will go hungry this Thanksgiving!
