Drama, Drama Everywhere
What happens when you have one very eager budding thespian, 2 school plays, and very little time on your hands? 2 lead roles.
Elsa was excited to earn the spot of Young Simba in the Middle School play The Lion King.
Michael chose not to audition, but once he heard Elsa explain the process he was sad he didn't try out. The director was kind enough to allow Michael to join the play as part of the hyena pack. He is pretty excited!
Not long after the exciting news from Lion King I received a heads up at 2:40pm that the High School was holding auditions at 3:15pm for Annie. They needed girls from grades 5-8 to fill the roles of Annie and the other orphans. I immediately called the school to give Elsa a heads up and give her permission to try out for the play. She was thrilled to get a call back for Annie. She was even more thrilled to find out she would be wearing the curly red wig!
