The New Porch

I had a bright idea in June to get rid of all the carpet on the front porch and the small stairway in the back.  The idea was to be carpet-free, paint the stairs and the porch, and then be on my way.  It didn't exactly happen that way.  The back steps cooperated just fine and were slated to be painted ASAP, that is until the carpet was removed from the front porch.  The porch was rotted and needed to be replaced, paint just wouldn't do it.  So my $50 fix became something much more.  It took a while for it to be completed, but it was worth the wait!
