Chase and his trains
Chase loves trains. He looooooves them. I have never really experienced such a dedication to one specific type of toy in a little one like this before. Big trains, little trains, dirty trains, "sleeping" trains, wooden trains...it just doesn't matter. He loves them all.
My parents neighbors have a great train setup and invited Chase to come and see it and run it. So, while Easton traipsed on over to Aunt Sarah's house to spend the night, and Noah was tucked into his crib, Chase, Peepa and I crossed the street to see the trains.
Chase was so attentive and so alive. He talked to Mr. Gary and asked so many questions about the whys and hows. Mr. Gary was so patient and tickled to show off his train setup. By the end of our visit Chase was running everything and so pleased to be large and in charge. We weren't there all that long, but that night he went to sleep super happy, but before he went to bed he asked Peepa why he didn't build him a train. After seeing his infatuation with the trains, I only see it as a matter of time before Peepa finds a way.
