Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time there were two little boys named Easton and Chase who needed a home while the courts decided their future.  They were taken in by A Trio of Love for Him and the boys quickly stole their hearts.  This Trio was only interested in fostering those in need, but after 9 months of caring for these boys they made the decision to adopt, if these little boys needed a forever home.

2 days later this Trio found out a sibling was on the way for the brothers.

After prayer and consideration they decided the new baby would come and live with them too.  And so the preparations began.  Rooms were moved around, a triple stroller was purchased, and a third crib was set up.  (yes, third)  There was so much joy with the news that this new little one would be a girl!  The closet began to fill with dresses in the pinkest pink, with ribbons and bows.  Oh the bows!

They waited for the call that would take this family from five to a nice half dozen, and before they knew it the phone rang with the exciting news that this long awaited baby was born in the wee hours of the morning.  But with this proclamation also came the surprising announcement that their little Lilly Mae was indeed a boy.  Surprise!

Sweet, sweet baby Noah Edward was born on April 10th, 2011 weighing 5 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 18.75 inches.  He spent 4 days in the hospital gaining the strength to eat more than an ounce at a time, but was soon ready to come home and join his new family.

Some of our favorite pictures of his first year here with us:

We got the call today that Noah was freed for adoption, and now it's just a matter of time till he becomes a forever boy for us!  I don't think for one moment that it was a coincidence that 2 days after we committed in our hearts to adopt his older brothers that we found out this precious little one was on his way.  God knew.  God prepared us, and He has been faithful to provide for us all along the way.  His ways are higher, and I am so glad they are!
