Let the Kids Come Home!
Boy have I missed Michael and Elsa this week.
They have been at camp and I get to pick them up at 9 tomorrow morning! Being a single mom can sometimes set you up for very little "me" time...and in the past 6 months they really haven't been away a lot. I thought this time would be a great time of refreshment, rejuvenation, and relaxation.
What I realized is I really didn't need it. God is good and has really molded us into a great family unit. I found I needed to keep myself busy this week because I missed them so much :) I am thankful for having had this week to understand that frustration with your children is common...but the bottom line is I would rather have them here than anywhere else!
