Solo Fest

Michael didn't do our school's local solo-fest this year as his score from last year already qualified him for both All-County Choir and Area All-State Choir, but he had his heart set on giving All-State a go.  His choir director wasn't convinced that he was serious enough about this to complete the work needed to get ready for this solo-fest.  She took a chance on him, and he certainly delivered!  He put in his time, not only on the song, but to get up to speed on the rigorous sight reading demands of this higher level competition.

I wasn't able to go to see him as I was down with my back, but we were all excited to get the call that he scored a 100/100 which has pretty much guaranteed him a spot in next years All-State choir!  So proud of all of his hard work and determination!
