Final Meet of 2012

It's over.  This always makes me happy and sad at the same time.  Sad because, well, it's over, but happy because the practices are done and now I get to spend more time with my Cha Cha!  Elsa went into this meet with no pressure and intended to run, just for fun!

She completed the high jump at her record height of 4' 4" and finished all of her jumping before any of her races happened.  This was new for her...and I think she liked it.  She almost cleared 4' 6", but that will have to be saved for another year.

Next up was the 200m Sprint.  She gave it her all and came in at 5th place with a time of 32.3

And then it was time for the final run of her 2012 season.  The coaches put together a Sprint Medley team and this was the last race of the meet.  Tess would run the 200m, Cassie the 100m, Natosha 100m, and Elsa would anchor with the 400m.

Not surprisingly, they beat the school record with a time of 2:19.8   :)

Way to go girls!  My guess is we will never have a season quite like this one again.  Tess and Elsa broke school records in every meet they attended.  I am really excited to see these two in the upcoming years!
