A photography journey

I've decided to jump in and do something I have wanted to do for a long time.  I've thought a lot about learning more about my camera, and how to take much better pictures.  I kept waiting for a time I might be able to take a DSLR class, but it just dawned on me that I will never take the time to go, and with 5 kids, did I really even want to?  With all the information floating around on the internet I am choosing to just seek out the information for myself.
