Elsa and the High Jump

Elsa has been doing the high jump since 7th grade.  They wanted her to try the long jump, she wanted to do the high jump.  I might have laughed a little when she made the decision to try and get her tiny, short body over the high jump bar.  She surprised us all and beat the modified record in her very first track meet.  Last year, as an 8th grader, she missed the Varsity high jump record by one inch.  She has gotten close twice this year, but has had a bit of a mental block regarding it.
