State Qualifiers 2014

You want to make it to States in track?  You have to win your event at State Qualifiers!  Elsa was really hoping to be the first one from her school to qualify in two events.  She was poised to do just that with a 1st place seeding in both the 2000m Steeplechase and the 3000m run.  She had also helped her team qualify for this track meet in the 4x800, but knew the chances of moving on in this event was slim with a 6th place seed. 

She knew she just had to win both of her events and really couldn't go for record breaking times.  The Steeple and 3000 is a pretty rough double, but she was ready, and she did it!  She won both of her main events, and helped her team to a 6th place finish in the 4x800.  Tess also won the 1500 with an amazing time of 4:44.81, securing her spot at States as well!
